I started Swifly because I kept seeing the same problem — people who could do great work weren't getting connected to the people who needed it. In South Africa, there's no shortage of skilled people. There's a shortage of trusted ways to find them.
I've been building Swifly for a long time — wiring screens, database logic, and workflows — while working a call centre job to keep things moving. This isn't a side project I'm tinkering with. It's the thing I'm building toward.
We work with South African professionals. The platform is built here, for here. We understand the local context — the areas, the services, the way people actually live and work.
Every provider is verified before they can accept jobs. Individuals and registered businesses are treated differently — we know who they are, and customers can confirm it too.
On-demand doesn't mean rushed. It means you don't have to spend days calling around. You describe what you need, someone nearby accepts, and you track them as they head your way.

Swifly started with cleaning — it's the clearest entry point. Easy to understand, large market, lots of independent cleaners and cleaning businesses who could use another channel.
But the vision is bigger. We want Swifly to be the app you open when you need practical help. Not just cleaning — tutoring, plumbing, haircuts, moving, caregiving, private chefs, fumigation, and whatever else people need done in their homes and businesses.
We're starting in Midrand because marketplaces work best when they're close to the people using them. After Midrand, we expand outward. One area at a time. Real supply. Real demand. Real transactions.
